This design features two intertwined ropes and the knot itself may have been created by sailors during their long voyages as a means of remembering their loved ones.

The Sailor's knot is symbolic of FRIENDSHIP, AFFECTION, HARMONY & LOVE. Although a relatively simple knot , it happens to be one of the strongest.

The bracelet is fastened with a  coconut shell bead  beautifully hand carved with the Om mani padme hum mantra.
